Guard dog Attack training German Shepherd/Malinois k9-1.com

Personal protection attack dog training video of a 7 month old German Shepherd/ Belgian Malinois mix puppy. Although this dog isn’t old enough to do real guard dog work it is being prepared to do real protection work… sort of like sending a child to karate class. He will finish guard dog training at about 18 months old. Quality protection dog training takes patience, respect, and knowledge. If a dog is trained with yelling and intimidation…how do you expect them to do protection work on a yelling man? Beware of people who sell sport dogs (aka schutzhund trained dogs) as “personal protection dogs. Sport dogs are trained to look pretty doing specific protection routines on a training field and may be confused in a real situation when there is not a bite sleeve or protection suit to bite. Also these types of protection dogs are trained to take stick hits instead of avoiding them and attcking that arm. This is because you can’t hold the stick with an arm within sleeve and schutzhund is a sport that is meant to prove a dogs bravery and show they are worthy of breeding, therefore they are trained to take stick hits that are always used with a stick that won’t really hurt the dog and are always hit on safe spots of the body. This is setting the dog up for failer when they must fight a person for real that is planning on hitting them in the head with an iron bar. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the dog training video of Matrix… another client dog trained by K9-1 Specialized Dog

@josephmanik My advice would be never get two pups at the same time, especially from the same litter as it will lead to problems with training as the dogs will form a closer bond with each other than you. maybe get one dog and when it gets older get anther puppy?

@CocoGoddess143 Of course they can. but its more hard then with GS. Pitbull normal reactione whem he see human come to him is to be friend with him not defend against him or bite him.Pit was breed for diferent things so i dont agree with pit in defence traning or at protection work His place is elswhere. And if someone want dog for guard and defend buy GS he is best at it. And dont spoil breed with work for what he wasnt breed thats why they have badf rep.

@Reptornicus its not hard to teach a pit bull to attack a human at all. Very easy. Its allin how u train them. I’ve bred vicious breeds of pits that r trained to fight and made them house dogs for my 4 children. I’ve bred them and all the above. They can be trained to do anything!!! U need to study them or train them yourself to see. German shepherds r jus easier to train haven’t had one yet but im gettin oe!!!

I am thinking of getting a pair of German Sheperd/Malinois mixed male pups for guarding both indoors and in the yard. I have heard that getting 2 males is problematic because of potential fights and injuries, but I have figured that with some professional training, it could be alright. I have had a Malinois in the past and I have raised mixed-breed pups before. Does anyone here know of a good reason why not to do this, or if another breed might be a better choice? Any advice would be appreciated

Ok I had to pause the video to write this:
As much as I think this training method and this video are GREAT and WELL DONE, I must say that Giant Schnauzers are EXCELLENT guard dogs, I have no idea why you wrote that “beware” comment, they preform very well, and they do serve as work dogs in police and military around the world.
The reson why they are worse than german shepherd is due to the fact that they bond TOO MUCH with their owner. Not enough room in this box to explain.
    Again, good video

@bluegama500 Pitbull have lack of power?LOL You dont know much about dogs do you? Pitbull is one of the strongest breed in the world. He is able to put down 3 time bigger dogs then he is. He can pull 2T. Only pull breeds like malamut can pull more. These dogs are extremly strong and smart they will kick ass of anything. The reason why police use GS is beacouse pit is human friendly. And its hard to teach them atack human. He dosne have genes for this. His job is diferent. its fighting not guard

Hey I got a question can you train a labrador retriever to respond to those commands because they are usually verry friendly dogs

  21. Huntercashy

u can stop your dog from attacking easy.have your friend come bye with he’s/her dog. then get some dog biscuts. or something he/she likes. then walk buy your friend and his/her dog. if your dog trys to attack your friends dog turn around and show him/her the biscut. or whatever. then go back to the dog showing the dog the biscut. But dont give it to him/her. every time it trys to attack turn the other way and show him/her the biscut again. do it till he walks right right pass him/her.
