Not that we aren’t all called to worship which we are because we are the church, but I am called to musical worship and this video speaks so much to me and is phenominal! Love this, all the glory to God for using her!
Amen… I totally agree with being connected with God 24/7… To walk with God daily and not only just want a connection with him through music on Sundays or Weds… To walk in the spirit everyday.. Just having fellowship with God should be the thing we seek the most..

Watching this really helped me. I’m 16 and I normally sing back up but my worship leader asked me to lead worship tomorrow morning for the first time. I was ready to go and excited to embrace this oppertunity. But just yesterday my teacher who I had a really close bond with, passed away. I asked questions like “why did this happen?” and i wasn’t sure if I would be able to worship lead tomorrow. But watching this really encouraged me. Thanks and God bless

“I want God, more than I want answers” – That is good. Often our reasoning is in the way from receiving from Him. Not that we shouldn’t use intellect, of course he made it. But I believe you know what I mean.

@kawanan777 I don’t think you understood the end of that statement I made. I was saying you can’t believe that we came from just one big mistake, being the science point of view, tht we must come from a greater beign because of complexity of the life.
@zachmando013 it’s not God’s mistake,coz God knew the possibilties of People being astrayed to bad will..but.still He knows He will win till the end….at least people have experienced life and determine the goodness under His will and the worstness experience under evil will,experienced a bit of sway to their ways and corrected their mistakes by their realizations and lead them happy life from their good choice..that’s His victory.
@ohhyeah621 Have you ever questioned your existence, I mean really questioned it. Now let’s look at science, okay we came from nothing their was some mistake in the nothingness that we got universes, galaxies, planets, environment, animals and human life itself. Now the other side. God created us. Well the complexity of a human, the cycle of the environment, the mystery of planets, the number of universes and galaxies. Now you can nor tell em that you believe that this was all a big mistake.

Part 4: Questioning is quintessential to life. To subvert questioning is to remove the capacity for faith to grow. The defeaters Dr. Keller refers to will eat at the seed that is sown.
We can forgive her for her lack of speaking skills (poor vocabulary, lack of precision with words, inability to articulate an idea with brevity and lucidity) because her skill is in music (and she does it well of course).
Overall, it is an excellent point and a good reminder.

Part 3: Well, that’s too bad. I wonder why one is allowed to ask a question in one case (and it leads to authentic worship) only to quell questioning in another case (which could also lead to a more authentic Christian lifestyle). A sound theology and a relevance to the culture necessitates questioning (oneself, one’s beliefs, one’s priorities, one’s theology, one’s passions, etc.).
Part 2: Unfortunately, she then later vacillates. She then says she can’t ask questions when hardships come. She says she has to smash the inquisitive mind away. Oops, my bad. she actually said there is an offended heart. She keeps referring to heart erroneously (she means mind. It’s a challenging topic and a bit of red herring here; I apologize).
Part 1: It’s too bad this is not self-evident. It’s too bad we have to unlearn our poor habits and Americanized religion. It’s too bad the simplest of actions must be redefined because our traditionalism and human inventions have polluted authentic Christianity. Don’t get me wrong, I am thankful when the select few stand up and finally ask good questions–”why do I need to be conjured up?” I am excited for the pervasive anti-intellectualism in America to fade into non-existence.
