    This video is sooooooo good i so wanted to go to PDX my mom promised she’d take me but now she backed out. Long Island is the most pathetically sad place in the world I’ll kill myself if i have to live the rest of my life here and because after everything I read about Portland I really noticed that it was MY kinda place to go on vacation to. Now I’m probably gonna not go on vacation at all and listen to all the kids at my school talk about their spring vacations with their families. Trust me th

    lol they need to make a travel Stockton video. Stockton Ca ranked as the most miserable city in the US.

    I love being able to call all of this home. (: It makes me feel very fortunate, and to those of you who complain about Portland, no one is forcing you to live here, we don’t need the negativity in our beautiful city. Just a thought. (:

    @CrimsonToast Good point.

    @TheFaustianMan Like all places, it depends upon where you go. I live about 20 minutes south of portland and about 1/6 of the people here are of asian descent.

    There’s black people, brown people, yellow people, and whatever other variation there is. But yeah, I think that overall, portland is around 75% white people. Does that bug you? I suppose in the forest it doesn’t matter. That’s the best place to be in Oregon anyway.

    Wonderful video! It makes me that much more excited about visiting Portland, which will then lead to a decision on whether or not to move to the Pacific Northwest! Beautiful!

    @dancesonpoles Oregon, definitely. Colorado is too cold, and in Washington you pay sales tax. Trust a native Oregonian, you won’t regret it. Shoot, I know several Hawaiian transplants who love Oregon.

  23. MrsRoadRunner2000

    Nice nature scenes, I am glad to be a native of Oregon.

    We moved to Portland from California and the rain doesn’t make it miserable. I find it kind of relaxing. If you really hate rain though you wouldn’t be happy here. Thing is when I was in California if it rained 2 days in a row it was “storm watch” all over the news with “triple doppler” updates every commercial break and interviews with people complaining about the rain. I just think Californians by nature are wussies.
